Some of the notable additions to the team are:

  • Kenny Pickett: A rookie quarterback who was selected by the Steelers with the 20th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Pickett is a smart and accurate passer who has impressed in the preseason, along with veterans Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky. He is expected to compete for the starting job and be the future franchise quarterback for the Steelers.
  • Nick Bosa: A former first-round pick and a two-time Pro Bowler defensive end who joined the Steelers from the San Francisco 49ers via trade in 2022. Bosa is one of the most dominant pass rushers in the league, as he has recorded 23 sacks and 34 tackles for loss in his three-year career.
  • Travis Kelce: A six-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion tight end who joined the Steelers from the Kansas City Chiefs via trade in 2022. Kelce is one of the best tight ends in NFL history, as he has recorded over 1,000 receiving yards in six consecutive seasons, breaking the record for most seasons with 1,000 yards by a tight end.
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: A former first-round pick and a two-time All-Pro safety who has been one of the best defensive backs in the league since joining the Steelers from the Miami Dolphins via trade in 2019. Fitzpatrick has 11 interceptions and 21 passes defended in his four-year career, and is a leader on the Steelers’ defense.
