The Denver Broncos are one of the most storied and successful franchises in the National Football League (NFL). They have won three Super Bowls and have appeared in eight of them. The Broncos are also known for their legendary players, such as John Elway, Terrell Davis, Shannon Sharpe, Champ Bailey, and Von Miller.
The Broncos compete in the AFC West division, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers. In 2023, the Broncos hope to bounce back from their disappointing 2022 season, where they finished with a 7-9 record and missed the playoffs. They also made some major changes in the offseason, hiring Sean Payton as their new head coach and trading for Russell Wilson as their new quarterback.

Some of the notable additions to the team are:
- Quarterback Russell Wilson, who was acquired from the Seattle Seahawks in a blockbuster trade. Wilson is a nine-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion who can elevate any offense with his arm, legs, and leadership. He is expected to be the franchise quarterback for the Broncos and end their long search for stability at the position.
- Wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who was signed as a free agent after being released by the Houston Texans. Cooks is a speedy and versatile receiver who can stretch the field and create big plays. He has four 1,000-yard seasons in his career and has played with some of the best quarterbacks in the league, such as Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Deshaun Watson.
- Linebacker Frank Clark, who was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a third-round pick. Clark is a two-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion who can wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks with his pass-rushing skills. He has 49 career sacks and 14 forced fumbles in his seven-year career.
- Tight end Adam Trautman, who was drafted in the first round out of Dayton. Trautman is a well-rounded tight end who can block, catch, and run after the catch. He has good size, speed, and hands, and he can create mismatches in the middle of the field. He is expected to be the starter at tight end and a reliable target for Wilson.
