The Ravens have a strong roster with a mix of stars and role players, as well as players from different backgrounds and colleges. Some of the notable additions to the team are:
- Jadeveon Clowney: The former Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans linebacker signed a one-year deal with the Ravens in free agency. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and a former first overall pick in the NFL draft. He is expected to provide pressure and disruption to the opposing quarterbacks and running backs.
- Melvin Gordon III: The former Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos running back joined the Ravens as a free agent after being released by the Broncos. He is a two-time Pro Bowler and a powerful runner who can also catch passes out of the backfield. He will form a formidable duo with Gus Edwards in the Ravens’ backfield.
- Odell Beckham Jr.: The star wide receiver was traded to the Ravens from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a third-round pick in the NFL draft. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and one of the most explosive and talented receivers in the league. He will give Lamar Jackson a reliable and dynamic target in the passing game.
- Roquan Smith: The former Chicago Bears linebacker was acquired by the Ravens in a trade that sent linebacker Patrick Queen and a fifth-round pick to the Bears. He is a former first-round pick and an All-Pro selection in 2022. He is a fast and instinctive player who can cover, tackle, and blitz.
The Ravens hope that their new roster will help them improve their performance and contend for a Super Bowl title in the competitive AFC North division. They will face tough opponents such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cleveland Browns, as well as other teams from across the league. The Ravens’ fans are eager to see their team in action and cheer them on to victory.
