The Pistons have hired Monty Williams as their new head coach, replacing Dwane Casey who was fired after four seasons. Williams is a former NBA player and assistant coach, who has previous head coaching experience with the New Orleans Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns. Williams is known for his defensive acumen, player development, and motivational skills.
