The Atlanta Hawks are entering the 2023-24 season with a lot of hype. They have a young and talented core led by Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. Young is one of the most dynamic scorers in the NBA, and Murray is a lockdown defender who can also get his own bucket. The Hawks also have a number of other young players with potential, such as De’Andre Hunter, Saddiq Bey, Onyeka Okongwu, and A.J. Griffin Jr.
The Hawks’ biggest weakness is their lack of size and experience. They don’t have a lot of proven players outside of Young and Murray. However, if their young players can continue to develop, the Hawks could be a very dangerous team in the Eastern Conference.
