Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally: India’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners

The Asian Games 2023, also known as the XIX Asiad, is the 19th edition of the continental multi-sport event that is being held in Hangzhou, China from September 10 to 25. The event features 40 sports and 462 events, with a total of 10,000 athletes from 45 countries and regions participating.

India has sent its largest ever contingent of 655 athletes to the Asian Games 2023, competing in 39 sports. The country has set its sights on surpassing its previous best performance of 70 medals (15 gold, 24 silver and 31 bronze) at the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia.

As of September 22, India has won a total of 27 medals (6 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze) at the Asian Games 2023, ranking third in the overall medal table behind Japan and China. Here are the details of India’s medal winners at the Asian Games 2023.
